Yay, JD is back! ^^ My hours are somewhat back to normal, so I should be able to get back in the swing of things hopefully pretty easily. The holidays are always so crazy >< I hope all of you had a good holiday season :D
Hello, I’ve been re-reading some of the old comics, and it turns out that most “link to an old comic” links in the rant are broken because the website’s awful “pretty URL” manager chokes on all the “/yyyy/mm/comic-title” URLs. You’d need at least to set up a redirect from “/yyyy/mm/comic-title” to the current format “/comic/comic-title” (or better yet, ditch the pretty URLs altogether, they do nothing but hide information and make all links *hopelessly* broken when the URL format changes yet again).
If you remember which pages have broken links, I can go and fix them… But it seems like once the pages are linked to the “comic/name” format, one cannot change it to another format. I tried to go in and change it to the “mm/yy/title” format that you suggested, but it seems like it doesn’t retroactively change the old comics’ links. If there is a way to do it, I am unaware of how to, as I am always learning things about PHP and WordPress myself through trial and error.
Ah, I see where you’re coming from. A platform you don’t control, with a database format you didn’t make, and possibly even not or poorly documented… 🙁

You know it will become a good year when you start it with a JD update! 🙂
Happy New Year!

So Chris was beat up by Jason, and fled him by going back in time and hiding in the past as Mr. Lazarus?
