Awkward

  1. Hmm. Cues had been subtle at first, but by now they’re not.
Calling it. Beatriz noticed Nick has hots for Jason, and she took the kids with her to leave those two alone.
Now. What’ll happen what Jason realizes going on :3

    1. At the rate things are going, Nick’s either going to whip it out or insist that Jason’s got a purty mouth. Seriously, we went from “Can I get you drunk” to “Let’s go to my bedroom” in the space of about three minutes, and the only thing keeping this from being downright rape-y is Jason’s spectacular obliviousness.

      1. Is that really the vibe you’re getting from this page?!

        1. I can’t speak for Steve, but vibe I am getting is “shy awkward gay teen”?
That being said, I don’t think Nick is in the right here. He just assumed he and Jason are of compatible orientation, despite nothing suggesting it to him except his own wishful thinking (and having information to contrary, such as that Jason had girlfriend).
Not “sexual predator”, just “teenager of dumbness/hornyness typical of his age”.

        2. Ya, I agree with Mackus here. It’s a little cringey and obviously awkward (and to be honest, he probably wanted Jason to get a drink so he could have an excuse to drink), but there is pretty obviously no ill intent.

        3. That’s probably what I’m getting. It does skew the perception that I’ve never actually been in this situation on either side so I have no basis in empathy, but Nick’s taking some absolutely preposterous tacks. I wasn’t exactly a ladies’ man myself, but you managed to get me alone in a house with a girl my first questions were not “Shall we empty a liquor cabinet?” followed by “Would you like to see my bed?” Seeing that combination of aggressive and horny is looking creepy as all hell.
