Babe Scoping 101

Hey everybody! I Hope everyone enjoyed their 2014. It was pretty fantastic for me... Not only do I still have my freelance illustration job and my personal freelancing still going on, but I got a job working at CVS, and I still really enjoy it! (Except for once in a while when I have to get up at 6am XP) Plus, it's really nice having a job that provides a regular paycheck and all. It definitely makes me feel better if I can pay bills on time and such. I hope everyone is enjoying JD thus far. I'm really stoked about this coming up year... There are going to be quite a lot of big things happening in the storyline, and I hope you all enjoy reading it! Season 21 is fully written, and I just need to start storyboarding it all out. In the next couple of seasons there are going to be some pretty big events. Plus, next year Juvenile Diversion is going to be 10 years old! A flipping decade! *dies* I seriously cannot believe I've been doing it so long, it's been such an amazing journey. I'm really happy that we have had amazing readers and some really awesome, heartwarming, and funny comments. Even though I don't always reply to your comments, I read EVERYTHING. It's my favorite thing to do, right after actually making all this art. So, seeing as next year is JD turns 10, I was planning on doing something that hopefully some people will find pretty cool... I've been wanting to do a big poster-type print for a while, and this is going to be the year! My art is just about at the place where I'm finally really happy with it, and I'm planning on getting my very first convention table next year! It's not a huge con, but I went this year, and really enjoyed it. There were some amazing people there, and I'm really excited about the prospect of being a part of it. Now I just have a ton of work to do! Plus, I'm still working on volume 1 of the JD graphic novel! *falls over* But, since things are pretty hectic, I've got to take a short break for Christmas. I definitely won't leave you guys with nothing, though. I'm thinking of something New Year's related since it'll be after Christmas. Now I just need to come up with an idea by Tuesday, heh. So next week... no regular comic, but I will definitely do something for you guys for the holidays. I hope everyone enjoys their holiday season, and if you don't celebrate a holiday, have a great season! :) And as always, I sincerely thank you all for being such awesome, dedicated readers of JD.

  1. Kyle always finds new and exciting ways to remind you he’s a jerk.

  2. You may not have worn it since you were fourteen, hoss, but it appears to be working. At least, judging by the drool on your right….

    1. It’s the whole package: The tight shirt, the little bit of makeup, the hair slightly covering the face… *drool*
